Spring Valley's Methodist Church Musuem
Almanzo and Laura Ingalls Wilder attended this church from 1890-91. The church, now on the National Historical Register, has two floors of exhibits including a Wilder photo display, Conley Camera collection, Richard Sears exhibit and much more from that era. Visit the 1890s rural town, browse the Meighen Store, and chat with consumed guides portraying actual residents.


Lake Louise State Park
Lake Louise lures hikers and horseback riders to its trails, which wind through open meadows and lush hardwoods. It also provides bicyclists with access to the paved Shooting Star State Trail, which bisects the park. A historic dam impounds the Upper Iowa and Little Iowa River, allowing for great paddling, swimming and fishing on Lake Louise. In addition, visitors swim, canoe, kayak or fish in Lake Louise. Hiking and horseback riding are also popular activities at this park. The lakeside picnic grounds and beach area draws visitors in the summer.


Deer Creek Speedway
Deer Creek Speedway is a 60+ acre facility with one of the Midwest’s most state of the art racing complexes. This high banked 3/8 dirt-clay race track puts on an average of 30 events a year. With 24 VIP Suites, 36 VIP Decks and a total seating capacity of up to 8,000 and a full service campsite Deer Creek is set to host some of the biggest events in the country.

​Cherry Grove Blind Valley Scientific and Natural Area (SNA)
​Cherry Grove Blind Valley SNA is just south of Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park. It is bordered to the north by the Cherry Grove State Wildlife Management Area. Just across the road (193rd Avenue) from the parking spot is the privately owned Minnesota Karst Preserve, Goliath’s Cave section.

This 842-acre wildlife area is situated in the gently rolling agricultural region of southwest Ohio just east of the Little Miami River, eight miles south of Xenia and four miles north of Waynesville. The area may be reached by turning east off U.S. Route 42 onto Roxanna-New Burlington Road.
